In 1970 Craig T. Hamilton AKA Tom Hamilton parted with his precast concrete employer. He set out on a venture that is being carried on by his family 43 years later. Craig’s Construction Specialties opened their doors in the spring of 1971. Tom Hamilton along with his partner Elmer Shell developed and patented our feature product the XA mesh chair. After Elmer’s retirement Mark Long became the Office Manager. Craig passed away in the spring of 2009. He left the business to his children. His son Todd Hamilton is now the President of the company. We are a family owned and operated company that strives to provide exceptional service to our customers.

At the beginning of 2011, we relocated our business office and combined our manufacturing and warehousing facility. This has streamlined expenses and increased productivity. This efficiency has allowed us to keep price increases to a minimum. This is rare in an industry affected by the increases in oil, plastic, steel and other commodities. We have also broadened our product line by offering rebar chairs with a base and stackable/panel rebar chairs, caged chairs and bolster chairs. Freight charges are free and allowed on orders of $1,500.00 and over to points in the Continental USA. $30.00 per cwt freight allowed to points outside the Continental USA on orders of $1500.00 and over. We are a green company and support the recycling of plastics. When we have recycled plastic they are regrinded and put back in to our resin and reused for other products.
